Dark red to garnet. Very attractive nose with dried orange peel, dark plums with hints of pencil lead. Heavy body with stoniess, forest and leathery entry. Not particularly long finish, acidity is losing, passed its peak.

Blackberry, seaweed, leather, mushroom; elegant and smooth with a moderately long finish; little fruit remaining but good retention of structure and presence

Served blind. A nice dry, savoury, mellow Bordeaux there now for drinking. On the nose, cedar, old leather, graphite, spice and red currant aromas. Similar flavours on palate. Red berry fruits, old leather couch, tobacco leaf, earth and red liquorice. Elegant, a little below mid weight, but with sufficient mid palate depth and concentration for me. Lively, refreshing acidity. Decent length.

Needed 30 minutes of air. Classic Pauillac with lead pencil and cedar elements. Very enjoyable, but I'm not sure it was worth 15 years of cellar space.

Garnet and scents austere. It starts with leather, net, and then cigar box. Slowly relaxes and out slight hints of cut grass, very pleasant, vanilla, cassis and a subtle smoky. After a littl,e dark tobacco and dark chocolate. In the mouth has a touch of "nordic" and elegant, but also sweet and velvety mouth feel in the center of cassis and dark tobacco and sensations retrolfactive fresh and smoked. In one word: balance.
