  Nice compromise between old and new world style wine, with very aromatic nose, and more structure than most californian merlots. Good expressiveness but lacks elegance.

  Deep, blood red core with next to no fade on the rim. Attractive nose of crushed berries, cherries, bitter chocolate and a hint of wet stone minerality. Lovely smooth entry with predominant stone fruits and bitter cherry acidity - acidity is long and is supported by well-worked tannins which become more pronounced on the finish. Lacking a little complexity, but good depth of flavours. Velvety, but not as rich or as chocolatey as some merlots - quite mineral.
