Nicely floral with some honeycomb, ripe apple. Fresh for its age with restraint all the way through, perhaps just a touch of heat at the very end. There was one glass remaining in bottle, which was recorked and refrigerated overnight. Much less interesting the next day.

Shimmering gold in color. 14.6% ABV. Powerful nose of butterscotch, honey and pears. Medium body with just enough acidity. Honeysuckle, caramel apple and marzipan on the palate. Something is a little off here. My experience with this wine is that it ages well for at least a decade. This particular bottle appears to be slightly maderized. I've had this wine since it was released so poor storage is not the issue. Disappointing. Drink soon.

Very lively and energetic. Still impressive acidity. High alcohol like WS chards always do but it is not overpowering. Medium to full bodied. Vanilla cocount popcorn creme brulee. No one would mistake this for.old world but it's a quality wine that has impressive staying power. That said, I wouldn't let this go much longer.
