  • This is a Turkish red blend. Nat cork, fairly light, but bright purplish-red. Ruby maybe. Forward nose of red fruits and a bit of glycerin, med body, some spiciness, reddish fruits, bit of tannic puckering, moderate finish, bit hollow midpalate. Fairly rustic style, id prob guess some off the beaten path french blend table wine if tasted blind. Not bad.

  • More smell than taste. Won't spoil the taste of meat

  • Had it at New Kapadokia (Turkish) in Redwood City by the glass. Can't remember the vintage. Made from the Okuzgozu grape. Light ruby in color. Interesting nose of minerals and some subtle red fruits. Palate seemed like herbs, earth, red fruits in the background with a strong minerally iron component from midpalate to finish. Light bodied. Can't remember the finish except the nice minerality. I liked it quite a bit. Really went well with the meat kebobs and all the spices on it. Will definitely try it again.
