  Surprisingly fresh and youthful, showing relatively little aging by comparison with 2014 drunk alongside - screwcap closure has been a success for this vintage
  
  Smouldering dark blackcurrant on nose
  Smooth dark tannins well integrated with black soft fruit and garrigue,still holding freshness
  
  To my taste, good for a few years yet

  Two hour decant. Colour beginning to fade. Magnificent nose around a core of black fruit, supported by mainly licorice and some spice and pepper. A little alcohol heat. The fruit is fading on the palate, quite savoury, dry and grippy. Long finish. Wonderful stuff, I've 2 left that I'll drink soon.
  
  PS The bride thought it was better than 92.
