  • Nice, bold straw color and smoky bouquet. As in the nose, I detected lots of smoke in the mid-palate, as well as a lot of citrusy fruit. The wine was somewhat sweet for a PM, and the fruit plump--perhaps from the oak in which the wine was aged, I'm not sure. A very pleasant drinking wine--the wife loved it--and I'm sure it would be a real crowd pleaser. I enjoyed drinking the wine with my oysters tonite, but I'm not sure this would be very high up the scale compared to the classic, terroir driven whites from this area, but a very pleasant wine overall.

  • Light yellow color and faint citrus nose and palate. Not what I expected, but have nothing to judge by.
