Nicely done buttery style chard that is a great bargain. I am a fan of this now out-of-favor style, and I think this effort was one of the best, and at a reasonable price. In addition to the oaky and buttery flavors, this one has additional flavors of some green apple and honeydew melon. It still has enough acid to provide a good balance, and a very smooth taste. Highly recommend to those who are fans of this style.

Pick up this bottle from bin end sales and I thought it was a good bargain. But after knowing it was recommended to "Drink it when you get home" by Chateau Ste. Michelle winemaker, I started to worry if the wines are still good. Light golden colour, it still retain fresh aromas of melon, citrus and subtle oak. Gentle and rounded on palate, with pineapple, melon, pear and well integrated oak. Plenty of fruits with nice acidity backbone and smoothness gained from aging. It is a simple wines with fairy short finishing. Nevertheless I still enjoy this wines. What a pleasant surprise especially at this price point.

Pale yellow with green highlights. Nose of green apple, burnt popcorn, oak. Medium bodied, well balanced, not overly oaked. Crisp with nice fruit, but simple and lacking on the finish. Good for the price point. (B-).
