Now this has matured a little the wine has slotted into balance nicely with the zesty and refreshing lemon and lime citrus fruit marrying beautifully with tertiary honeyed, creamy notes. I'm happy I picked up a bottle, despite my earlier concerns, and I'm happy that I'm drinking it now...very pleasant.

Wine-Ark Cellar Club Tasting 2 - March 2010, Aurora, Audrey Wilkinson and Penfolds (Roof Terrace Australian Museum): Nose: malo butter a touch rancid, lanolin
Mouth: acid, cheese and butter
For me this is in the middle stage of Hunter Valley Semillon - neither acidic, crunchy citrus, green apple and grass nor toasty rich butteriness. Not my cup of tea but with potential.
