Very good QPR. A little rustic and one-dimensional, but a very nice wine for the price. Some relatives liked it more than a Rosenblum that cost more than twice its price.

lots of acid on the nose for zinfandel. flowery ladies perfume coming out of the glass. I had to check the exterior of the glass for application of ladies hand lotion. very pretty expression in the nose for a wine that i had written off based on label and price point alone. raspberry fruit in the background with light balsa wood on the palate. some smoke. easy. very nice at the price - $10.

Simple, juicy, and primary. Some weird artificial sweet plasticky notes at first but later lots of berry and grape fruits with a bit of spice. Not much oak contribution, a very ordinary zin lacking the depth, vanilla, and mocha character I like in better zins.
Nice buy at $7.99, 82 points or something. I would serve this to non wine drinkers but I won't buy again for myself.
