bright golden amber, fresh nose essentially free of oxidative notes that exhibits amongst the panoply of aromas engaging orange and pineappley notes. Alcoholic finish with riesling-style tartness that keeps the wine freshly palate cleansing and remarkably focused. 95 Kistler's across the board appear to have done the best in my 94-00 stash of everything offered on the mailing list.

Beautiful aged chardonnay. On the nose, apples, vanilla and lemon. On the palate, full-bodied with apples, lemon, vanilla, and a long finsh with some cinnamon. Beautifully balanced, this has nowhere to go but down, though it may stay at this plateau for a while. I would consider drinking these up.

Deep yellow/gold in appearance. Spicy, apple-pie scents. Creamy and custardy in the mouth, yet good definition and cut. Apple pie crust and vanilla. Complex mouth feel and lingering finish. Excellent.
