Red, brownish rim, medium(+) intensity. Developed(+) to mature nose, medium intensity. Spicy, old oak. Aromatic. Ceder. Dark mature fruit. Roots. On the palate dry, medium(+) acidity, medium(+) tannins, like polished gravel. Medium(+) body. 13%. Complexity woven by the aromas. Fresh matureness. Very good length. Sandpapery afterfeel. Day 2 gives a darker impression. Plus more black currant, also on palate. Add more smoke, roots and oak. Almost chewy. Very much bx. Very nice.
50% Cabernet sauvignon, 50% Merlot.

Last night I had the Château Reysson Réserve du Château, Haut-Medoc, 2005. Straight into the glass, then leave for about 20 minutes.Beautiful dark Bordeaux red in the core deep dark, aromas of red cherry, blackberries, redcurrants, herbs, and precious wood came out of the glass. On the palate a juicy wine, beautiful fruit after cherries, blackberries and red berries, herbs, liquorice, a medium body and a beautiful acidity, balanced, harmonious, but still a slightly sandy tannins again.A long finish on the black and red berry side with neat tannins.Drink it with a steak. Very good Quality Price Ratio, very recommended.

A traditional Bordeaux that does not seduce the consumer with sweetness, fruit and silkiness but is made in a juicy and lighter style with a mix of red fruits and blackberries, a slight greenness typical of Bordeaux, tobacco and spices, soft tannins and a hint of bitterness on the finish. It's not a wine for hedonists nor for those who need lots of complexities, but it is a good wine to enjoy with food. This is ready for drinking now. - 86 points

Klassisk Bordeaux på näsan. Smaken är en liten besvikelse där det inte finns tillräckligt mycket frukt för att möta upp alkoholen.
