Completely lacking in complexity, this has a gentle nose of honeysuckle and almost no flavor at all in the drinking. No yeast, no cloying sugar, no citrusy bite, just a creamy fizz. This makes it the perfect sparkling wine for the champagne-hater.
I would liken this to mixing 4 parts Perrier with 1 part cream soda. It has a lovely hint of caramel-type color and plenty of bubbles and a very smooth start and finish.
Would be great in champagne cocktails like mimosas.
Pick this up at Trader Joe's for $9.
If you are tired of Freixenet's yeastiness, this is a great alternative.

Purchased for $10 at Trader Joe's. A very correct Cremant, extremely light in color, with med sized bubbles, and a nose of honeycrisp apple, lemon, flowers and pear. The palate shows a med bodied wine with pear and apple flavors, some ripeness and richness from honeyed notes, but ample cut from the med acidity and fairly crisp finish. Hard to beat for $10, come on! Decent, and drinkable through 2017.
