I am surprised that this wine has aged so well. Really great fruit on the attack. Pinot nose. A bit of a mystery. More fruit forward Cab on front end and the finish is more Pinot with cedar hints

Exactly the kind of Cali Pinot I just don't like. Almost fizzy upon opening, so light that it has a warm fruit overripe flavor that is almost sweet and overpowers what little other flavor there is in the wine. I'm sure plenty of people love this but I just don't.

A bombastic style, this is upfront and forward, flowing from the glass with pronounced pomegranate, candied strawberry, kirsch, and hot soil aromas. Medium bodied with relatively low acidity, this is supple and round on the palate, but shows considerable alcoholic heat that dominates the red fruit, spice and geranium flavors. A disappointing showing.

(J. Wilkes Pinot Noir Block 3 Solomon Hills Vineyard) Medium cherry color; ripe berry and cherry nose; tasty ripe cherry and berry palate with good acidity; medium finish

Stawberry and cherry on the attack. Nice finish - last 5 seconds.
