Really good St-Aubin, a good ringer for a Chassagne. Oak is smartly used, smoke, nice lemon, green apple and some star fruit. Med body, round, the acidity is not really high but the wine is still balanced and not heavy. A hint of minerality and a long finish. Nicely done.

Straw/pale gold color; first impression on the nose is cool, fresh, fuji apple and a touch of toast. The palate is brisk and bright but there is a bit of a glycerin/vanilla sensation to add some weight. At the finish, a pretty note of kaffir lime and a limestone chalk sensation. With more air, vanilla and tropical fruit notes begin to come forward, not in a chunky or clumsy way but just enough to lend some complexity and interest, paired nicely with citrus and bright fresh apple acidity. Very likeable wine and a killer at its $25 price point.

Oak was quite prominent at first. Full but lively. No rush to drink. Quite rich.

Nice balance with enough live. Not showing much than almonds and relative finesse. Enjoyable.
