(13% vol) No formal notes. I was given this wine to taste along side an Italian Passito; this was my clear favorite and I didn't even want to finish the ice cream dessert that I was having. The one point that struck me was that of the few Pach. du vic-bilh wines I have had, this is definitely the one I preferred the most as the apple notes on the nose were very subdued (I prefer not to smell apples but I've found from the other P. d. v-b wines which I've tried so far primarily have intensive apple notes on the nose but not on the palate nor the finish).
