  A little light for the pallate, normal for Sonoma, but not the bolder napa finish. Got more complex as it opened (about an hour) but not enough to bump it into memorable teritory.

  Pop and pour. Fruit forward style of Syrah. Fragrant, red fruit with a whiff of barnyard funk. Taste is fruit first, medium tannins with elevated acidity. I was very pleased with the wine upon opening.

  A mouthful of dark, jammy fruit to start but not much of a finish. Smooth, good nose.

  Popped and poured with Thai food. Nicely balanced with dark fruit, core minerals, cherry, and nuances of flower and spice. Nicely balanced with reasonable alcohol level. Not overwhelmingly complex, but easy to enjoy.
