Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 89 points

  • Nose: Honeyed apples/apple tart, peaches, more honey, candied lemons, hint of sulfuric funk, hint of petrol, slate as well. Sugar levels are detectable on the nose and point towards spatlese or riper. Palate: Candied citrus, flower-tinged peaches, slate peeks in and out on the attack. Mid-palate turns into a tug-of-war between fruit and acidity, with the fruit winning out in the end. Pushes into auslese territory, but is restrained and crisp. Very good QPR ($20).
