50 + Kleur: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 8 + Smaak / Afdronk: 11 + Algemeen / potentieel: 6 = 80/100

  • I believe Torrontes will be the next big varietal outside of the big 6, and this wine tells the story as to why. Don't delay, pick it up! Amazing complexity and depth - luscious canary yellow color. And what is that nose and taste; floral, fruit, herb? Like viognier, the wine's characteristics can be ineffable, lilac just smells like lilac, gardenia can be intoxicating but there is no memory in your mind it evokes, but instead calls up the entirety of your life, and the best parts, at that.

  • Big peachy, floral nose. Slightly steely on the mouth. Not as bright or lively as I hoped for. Ok, but not much to get excited about on the palate, especially b/c this is a little pricier then other Torrontes. 84-86
