  • Clear Golden yellow in colour. Clean nose of honey and citrus. Off dry, med acidity, med body, lots of apricot, honey, and citrus on palate. Nice finish. I often find some of the Spatlese a little too sweet to drink many glasses. Not so with this wine. It has a nice acidity that balances off the sweetness and makes it very easy to drink. Great wine and will last for many more years.

  • First rate Reisling. Grapefruit, safron, with a hint of diesel on the nose; very intense. On the palate the perfect balance of acidity and sugar made this a mouth watering treat. Again with the citrus but also a hint of florals and honeyed notes. Long and intense. Drink or hold, this wine could probably do many more years, but is splendid drinking right now.
