Community Tasting Notes (2) Avg Score: 85 points

  • Nice whiff of lemon and lime. A tightly wound chardonnay with pretty lemon, chalk, smoke and mineral flavors. Still quite tart and a bit unyielding but perked up with seafood. Missing a bit of complexity on the finish but seems young and in need of further aging. I would've never pegged this wine as a Mersault as it is very structured and missing any of the nuttiness. I know this wine is made in a vin de garde style and is built to age but I need to see this evolve before I can give it much of a score. 88+

  • Full of campbell mushroom soup! Some rusty notes. Clean palate with light-footedness. Nice white stone fruits.
