I couldn't agree more with Kevin's note below. The citrus intensity really is very energetic on the bottle I had, with some richer fruits and nuttiness combining with some delightful minerality. This will continue to evolve, and for lovers of old Chardonnay, improve. Not past it yet and hard to resist.

In contrast to IJC's note from late 2017, although I wouldn't regret opening a bottle now, I think the wine will continue to improve. At first, a whole-squeezed lemon and bracing acidity; little evidence of Meursault's tell-tale chalk aroma. With air the wine becomes less taut and more rounded, although still extremely fresh. Lemon curd and white flowers. Absolutely delicious, and a perfect pairing with a warm goat cheese salad.

Delicious. Classic Meursault nose, which (predictably) grew as the wine opened and warmed in the glass. Vanilla, touch of oak, quince. The acidity and fruit in balance, but both soft now, suggesting that it is both in the drinking window, but also not far from beginning a decline. Drink up!
Rated 1 on a scale of -1 to 3. Very fine, but not profound.

Delicious. Now, definitely in drinking window, the green gold color, a sense of wind blowing through the vineyard, traces of chalk and vibrant acidity ... all very pleasurable, and definitely Meursault.

Let it get past it's prime. Interestingly, after about 2 hours it mellowed out and became good. Drink it now if you have any.
