  Showing balance and warmth at 10 years old. Decanted and served with grilled steak and tomatoes, the second of three of these bottles I bought between 07-09 and packed up in a case amongst big juicy west coast cabs of same or approximate vintage. The subtleties of flavor noted in comments below from 2011-12 have melded together wonderfully in the nose and given way to a generous warm and tasty body, a basic structure that is still hanging on fine. Some of my ten year wines are losing it but the takeaway here is that a $15-20 cab chosen well can easily age well up to 10 years or more, holding its own and improving for much or all of that time.

  Nice wine, with interesting aromatics driven by cassis, licorice, and blackberry. Smooth palate with soft tannins and a decent backbone. Medium finish with overtones of earth and spices. Not very complex but honest and very pleasant. Drink now and in the next 3-4 years.

Lots of blueberry, currant and cedar with just the slightest hint of oaky vanilla. Medium length finish, but very dry. This is a remarkable bottle of wine for the price. I have had some Napa Cabs at three times the price aren't as good. <Wow/Very Good/Good/Fair/Plonk>
