Bought this on clearance for 3/$10 since it was deemed too old. WRONG! This has morphed into a classic example of a second growth Cotes de Beaune White Burgundy. Truly representative of a textbook chardonnay. I guess the secret it to wait ten years. Once in a while you hit it lucky.

Great value. I opened it to cook with and put in a fresh tomato & basil soup as it was an inexpensive bottle. We ended up finishing off the bottle with the soup and some italian chicken sausage. We would buy again for a "maintenance" wine. Hint of oak, no tartness, smooth

Still smokin'. Easily my best $3 purchase. A tribute to the screw cap enclosure!

Toasty nose with light burnt popcorn which was kind of neat. The palate was tart, short on the finish - nothing exciting.

Nose is really crisp and clear, not the nose of a typical chard, lemons and minerals, even a bit of a floral smell.
Citrus, minerals, some butteryness, and a little wood on the palate. Not bad, and for $8 this is a pretty good deal.
