Decanted for an hour, slight tint of brown at the edge of the glass. The nose is mainly. Cherry with a little savoury flavour and a hint of cola. The palate is more of the same and baked cherry pie. The finish is quite long with just a final touch of soft tannin to add texture and a wave of acidity keeping it fresh. It has a bit of an unusual tone to it, which isn't unpleasant but gives it a sweet tone and definitely new world.

My final bottle and the best one yet. If I could only have back that one I opened up in '10..... Ripe red cherry, cherry skin, red raspberry, and orange peel. Along with those aromas there are similar flavors and cocoa as well. Paired wonderfully with swordfish and as good with post-dinner conversation. Easily my best pinot of the year.

A wonderful bottle of wine. Very rich and full bodied with berry, cranberry, cola, mint, and wood/oak flavors and aromas. After an hour, a distinct cherry note arose along with some roasted flavors. The alcohol of previous bottles has finally subsided. This was the frosting on the day's delicious cake.

This tasted a little ripe to me, and everyone else. After a few hours it was getting a little more elegant. Perhaps a bad phase? MOre decanting? I had it a couple years earlier and found it stunning.
A good bottle, but not the great one we all remembered.

This took a while to open up. After a couple of hours this really came around. Aromas of black cherry and ginger with rich flavors of cherries, blackberry and some earthiness. A really great bottle of wine.
