Still singing. After several hours of air, it’s got beautiful dried raspberries and black tea. Can’t believe they release these for the same price as the recent vintage. These “poor vintages” are truly built to last, even with the more affordable Mount Jefferson cuvée.

First of four bottles of vertical tasting organized by Chris Tanghe. This was the group's #2 choice. Nice red fruit nose. Bright acid and darker red fruit taste. Moderate minus tannins.

Bought recently from winery library collection. Surprisingly fine wine, exhibiting cassis and spice, and by no means at the end of it's life. These Cristom wines seem built to age.
Vertical 2000, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010 tasting notes at http://gortonator-on-wine.blogspot.com/2012/12/cristom-mt-jefferson-vertical-tasting.html

Between light and medium body. Showing a nice intensity of fruit. Aromas of black currant. Well integrated flavors. Finishes a little smoothly, with light tannins resting on the bottom of the palate. Still, very food friendly.

Good solid cherry nose with an additional interesting aroma that I can't identify. Taste has fruit, and tannins are gone but a bit tart for my taste.
