A daunting wine. I have enjoyed this wine on multiple occasions over the past 4 years and it always impresses with it golden hue, earthy bouquet and balanced and complex palate. Open and decant for at least 2 hours and you will be amply rewarded.

Brooding and slow to get started, but eventually becomes quite expressive. Cider and orchard fruits. Pronounced stone elements. Has real grip (tannin) and impressive length. A complex oxidative element. Very good. Thought provoking as always.

Nose of cider, lemon oil, clay and peach. Citrus, mainly orange, and cider elements - apple, cinnamon, nutmeg - on the palate. Hazy bronze and copper hue. Looks like honey that fogged from being stored in the cold. Flashes of light butterscotch, grapefruit and salt. Whole almonds. Strawberry, orange water and touches of caramel. Really, phenomenally interesting wine. Buttery notes emerging with brioche flavors and perceptible tannins. Loads of clay-like mineral notes and crushed stone. Eventually showing walnuts but still a great core of fruit.

(Movia Lunar 8.) Light orange color with slight cloudiness; minerally, tart lime, tangerine, cream, floral nose; tasty, tight, tart citrus, orange, lime, mineral, tart peach palate with a light sense of sherry, good acidity and tart tannins; medium-plus finish
