Dark red. Big beuajolais nose, with fruit galore and some oak. In the mouth it was pleasant, and like all Morgons big - compared to other beaujolais. Nice and round in the mouth and finish - not too much tannin. Fairly well balanced, and an easy drinker right now. Definitely to be served with food (I had mine with leftover roast beef). This may age a bit yet, but I'd go ahead and drink up, then buy the 2009s for aging.
