  • Popped and vinturi'd watching Stanford lose a heartbreaker to Oklahoma State tonight. Great game, but agonizing loss. The wine is deep dark purple, with initial aromas of euculyptus and blackberry. Drank out of Woodward Canyon cab stems, which helped the wine breath, and open. Flavors of blackberry & boysenberry, a spice flavor, maybe nutmeg? Anyhow, full bodied with an inky teeth staining texture. After an hour and a half the wine was hitting its stride. Pretty good, should age well over the next 5 years or so. After drinking don't forget to brush...
