Decanted about 1 hour. Deep red-garnet color, almost opaque, with little signs of aging. Beautiful, classic, Pessac nose of tobacco, red fruit, some cedar, and tar. Lighter and drier on the palate than expected for the vintage. There was good fruit, ripe tannins, and nice acidity but the palate didn't quite live up to the promise of the aroma. Moderate finish.

Open two hours... Beautifully mature "Bordeaux". Plum, black cherry, vanilla, earthiness, barnyard, gamey fatiness. Nicely finessed tannins, acidic black cherries, relaxed oak, anise, graphite and a cedar bite. Woody/tannic finish that lasts for about 30 seconds. The finish cuts the fat of a ribeye wonderfully. If not for the finish (linear instead of complex) this is a 92 point wine. Fantastic wine for the price.

Thin then Rust at the rim, darker red in the center.
Nice soft plum flavors, but lite and juicy not concentrated.
Enjoyable for what it is.
