I continue to struggle to find Macon chards that I really love - to me they are all a bit too four square and this one also fits the bill. My first reaction when I tasted it is that if someone had never tried a Chardonnay in their life and wanted a typical sample, this wine will be perfect as it is very typical, balanced and tasty but ultimately not exiting at all.

Faaaar better compared to last time. Still a bit beefy, but rather gentle oak and nice and not too untypical Macon characteristics. Won't hold for ages. QPR (+ name) okay, however not great.

Not much left here, acids have faded though the oak has kept the backbone intact. Bit of oxidization.

One bottle was beautiful, full of energy and brisk acidity. The second one was showing early signs of premox.
