Just grabbed a bottle at the super market as my cellar was dry of every day drinkers. Nice bright blackberry aromas at pop-n-pour. Gave it about 10 minutes in the glass to settle. Body is more like a Sangiovese then a cab. Don't look for complex structure here (and don't expect it in this price point), but with alcohol under 14%, it makes a very pleasant table wine, which went quite nicely with the tomato pasta sauce I made for dinner. Intense cherry flavors mid-palate, with some tartness simulating tannins in the finish. Nothing at all offensive here. Good grab and go wine.

Good amount of pure fruit, but it's pretty one dimensional.

Edna Valley Cab is a keeper, very pleasant and full bodied taste. Will replenish by cellar with this wine during next trip to Total Wine.

Coq au Vin. Mint chocolate berries, dry, very good.
