purchased randomly in San Cristobal de las Cases. brought back to Calif to taste, and lovely indeed. quite complex bitter dark cherry, orange peel, very bordeaux-esque. recommended.

One of the best mexican wines I've ever tasted. Classic Bordeaux Blend and thats its style. Spyciy on the nose - anis, some green pepper and very nicely balanced fruit on the palate. Big, but not overpowering. Long finish. Drinks great now, but should still improve in the next years. Excellent with steak. Too bad it was my only bottle, have to try to get more of it.
