Very pale in the glass. Great nose of tart peaches, apples and a bit of pear. In the taste those fruits were sitting on the edge of sharp acidity and limestone which really defined the wine. Nice length of finish. For under $20 it was everything a Chablis should be. Good bottle with lobster.

Flawed- oxed. Not sure what happened to this one. The other 11 were fine, but none consumed since 2011.

consistent with my last notes, but with a little age on it. Still a good value

A very savory Chablis dominated by a chicken stock nose with some apple barely peeking through. Tastes prematurely mature to me.

The Wines of Burgundy and Food from the Sea (CoolVines/Blue Point Grill) (Blue Point Grill, Princeton): Light straw in the glass. Nice, plain, rather vague nose, some pear. Light bodied in the mouth with quite decent acidity, malic in nature. Generic, boring Chablis, but the acidity was nice with the oysters and salmon crostini. Nothing crazy. $27.
CV: "This is classic chablis. Unoaked chardonnay with a light body and zippy acidity. Excellent for a wide variety of foods."
