Over five years since previous taste and this is pretty good (and not going anywhere). Slight note of oxidation. but waxy fruit and salinity dominate with a touch of citrus. This has enough weight and acidity that it should be paired with food. Rather dense for what it is. The alcohol is well balanced. The warning here is that the first sniff and taste may be a bit intense, but after this settles down, it is quite nice.

This is a great scholium here. peach nectar, band-aid (in a good way, like a scotch,) nectarine skins, with a zing of acidity. Doesn't taste sweet, but I think the residual sweetness helps round things out.

This was a nice wine yet again. Sweet, maybe too much so for oysters. I had remembered it being so sweet. Grapefruit and muscadine. The bottle went quickly with friends.

Really nice. The weight and depth here give a tactile sensation of sweetness beyond the real sugar and it works well. Tropical, aromatic fruits. Short on the finish. Enjoyable though an odd twist on SB having the weight, body and some aromatics of a declassified Cotat without the minerality and precise acids.

Oxidized apple. No notable flaws, just a well-aged white I wish I could have tried in its youth.
