This has aged nicely and if you have it you should open it now. This is from my neighbor's cellar and it has an excellent structure with lively acidity that carries ripe stone fruit of peach and tropical fruits of mango skin, banana, a little pineapple, and smooth secondary of baking spice, creme brulee, and a little clove, but this is all very subtle and well balanced. A velvety texture with a firm backbone of acidity and alcohol that is in check makes for an enjoyable wine. Great to see a CA chardonnay age this nicely.

One of the biggest, boldest chardonnays I have ever had. Big nose of peach, apricot, vanilla and lemon. Big body with a smooth, unctuous mouthfeel. Good acidity keeps the wine from becoming cloying. Long, fruity finish. With its ripe fruit, buttery texture and full body this is a caricature of a California chardonnay. No elegance or finesse, but still quite enjoyable.

More acid, less Malo fermentation, light oak, mineral flavor

Served at Martha's dinner with salmaon. This wine is so much citrus character, it reminds me more of a sauvignon blanc than a buttery chard.
