Danish Invasion continues; 6/15/2015-6/19/2015: please decant - improved immensely with time. opened up very dominated by vanilla and ripe fruit. but with time this developed a lighter - floral nose with ripe cherry. mid also needed time - gaining weight and turning toward tarter cherry and more savory notes as time passed. potential here but young and in need of a few years.

Pure cherry and spice and pot-pouri in the nose; medium full body with silky, expanding, mouth filling concentration but fine and silky; nice dry tannins, and a long finish. Simply beautiful, complex, balanced. Great Producer, Great Vintage, and Great Wine.

Brunello 2004 Tasting (HSH): Great and intense nose with very nice and pure notes of elegant cherries. Also has a little touch of sewer and buttermilk with a little toastyness to it. A very intense and almost crazy acidity presents itself very nicely on the palate together with nice and intense cherry fruit. A lot of different spices and it presents itself very "juicy". I did however feel that it lacked a little bit of tannin to achieve the overall balance but without a doubt a a very nice wine currently. Very impressive intensity.

What Mlermontov said. Needed more air time than I thought so. Still very enjoyable though.
