  App: dark purple red, almost purple core.
  Aroma: dark fruit, leather, hanged meat, earth and flowers with a hint of stable.
  Medium-bodied+ with very good acidity and firm and powerful tannins. Excellent structure. Nice dark fruit on the palate.
  Very good length with some sweetness in the finish. (90)
  
  Still a youthful expression of Aglianico. Very nice indeed, and a classic together with rib of lamb. Will probably mature nicely. Decant or hold.

  Mørk rødlilla med nesten sort kjerne.
  Mørk frukt og kirsebær, lær, hengt kjøtt, jord blomster og et hint av stall på nesen. Middels fyldig+ med meget god syre og faste og kraftige tanniner. Super struktur. Følger opp med mørk frukt og kirsebær i munnen. Svært god lengde med en touch av sødme. (90)
  
  Fremdeles et ungt uttrykk av Aglianicodruen. Svært god nå, men vil nok klare/utvikle seg noen år til på langs, da den fortsatt har fin frukt og super struktur.
  
  Aglianico er en klassiker til lam, noe som ble bekreftet igjen i kveld.
  
  Supert kjøp til ca 160,- for noen år siden. Ikke tilgjengelig nå, dessverre, men se opp for vinene fra D'Angelo i Basilicata som er naboregionen til Campania. Riservaen Vigna Caselle er fantastisk og svært holdbar, mens IGT-en Canneto er mer fruktdreven og moderne. Supre kjøp alle tre, og jeg håper de blir tilgjengelige igjen snart. Da er der løp og kjøp!

  Dark purple inky pour with soft dark fruits on the nose. Full flavored with soft tannins and balanced acidity. Medium weight on the palate with moderate length finish.

  Drinking well. Complex nose of cherries, figs and herbs. Palate as well with good acidity and tannic structure. A bit angular with a long finish. Fitted well with Penne Puttanesca that had lots of olives, baby tomatoes and anchovy. Lots of compliments from table on wine...food too.

  Drinking very well right now - that is, at least the bottle we have been storing in the wine fridge for some time. I would pay attention to the previous CT note warning that this maybe too evolved. On the other hand, for below USD 20, in Stockholm, Sweden, you can't find many well structured, mature, fresh, red wines that pair up so nicely with a full fledged porterhouse steak. As for the aromas and flavor description, I find myself in utter agreement with the note of CT Braisedlambshank (see below).
