  • RT, decanted 60 minutes, no debris. Mature burgundy, initial funk blew off quickly leaving pleasant nose with bit of stone and warmth. Clean medium palate with a hint of fruit and earth. Not a whole lot of secondary notes but some difficult to name. Pleasant finish, great with roasted chicken.

  • This does taste past its peak. Nice enough on day 1, but not much in the way of fruit.

  • Tasting past its peak. Thin. Good nose but the body is missing. Doesn’t seems flawed just tired.

  • This was drinking well on pop 'n pour and improved over the 1st 30min-1hr. I see that other people thought this could improve over multiple days, but my motto now for burgundy is that if the wine actually tastes as good or better than you'd expect for the price you paid, then enjoy quickly. Burg is too finicky!

  • This wine was brought to a tasting by csnyder612, and it was quite delicious. The first night, the wine was big and burly, but things integrated nicely over being opened in the bottle for 3 days. Bright red cherry fruit on the nose, with plum skin, gravel, and nice cooking spice that is all repeated on the palate. The mouthfeel is tense and serious, slanting to the darker fruit profile, and the tannins are a bit bigger and more persistent than I had anticipated. Beautiful, med+ finish, with great perfume. Should drink well from 2015 (with a loooong decant) through 2023 ish.
