Rich, medium heady chardonnay aromas, ripe yellow apples, etc. with a hint of clean minerality; round, fat, and unctuous on the palate, slightly elevated alcohol, but balanced and impressive for Santa Barbara Chard. Holding up really well for an unoaked CA chard at this age! Much prefer the Burgs though.EWG Lunasia

Not more impressed than last time. Quite powerful nose of wine gum bears, apricot and peach. And I cannot seem to get over that this wine hasn't received any oak at all! It certainly tastes like it. Again, not a very harmonious nor charming wine.

Last bottle out of 8. This was of course one of the better ones, with a wonderful nose expressing tons of wet minerals and a crisp and very clean Chardonnay fruit. The palate is signaling maturity and integration, but it is truly singing beautifully tonight. A lovely wine. Next bottle will be a 2009.

Rather nice. Crisp, lean and vibrant with good balance. 13.5% ABV

Not as lean as past vintages. Lack of acidity also reduces its pleasure. Not a typical Inox.
