  • 3110 and Friends: Redcurrant, tobacco, cherry and a light smoky streak. Tannins are still there to support the medium intensity fruit. Good texture. The first sip of this was the best and I started to feel a bit less enthusiastic the more I drank it, but I still felt that it was very very good.

  • The moment you stick your nose in your glass of this, something in the deep depths of your brain goes "Ooooooh. Wynns... Coonawarra. Mmmmmm.". Showing quite a bit of age with a translucent rim-to-core, and hints of browning on the edge, this blend's bouquet has all the hall-marks of a good Coona Cab-Shiraz. The palate doesn't quite live up to the nose with the fruit having dried out a touch, but there is still enough in the balance of the body and the flavours on the finish, to make this a very enjoyable wine. Drink now, or two years ago.
