  3110 and Friends: Redcurrant, tobacco, cherry and a light smoky streak. Tannins are still there to support the medium intensity fruit. Good texture. The first sip of this was the best and I started to feel a bit less enthusiastic the more I drank it, but I still felt that it was very very good.

  The moment you stick your nose in your glass of this, something in the deep depths of your brain goes "Ooooooh. Wynns... Coonawarra. Mmmmmm.". Showing quite a bit of age with a translucent rim-to-core, and hints of browning on the edge, this blend's bouquet has all the hall-marks of a good Coona Cab-Shiraz. The palate doesn't quite live up to the nose with the fruit having dried out a touch, but there is still enough in the balance of the body and the flavours on the finish, to make this a very enjoyable wine. Drink now, or two years ago.
