Overoaked after all these years, which leaves a bitter taste. Improves with food but still not what we desired. Enjoyed some Petite Sirah characteristics -- inky black and blueberries and chocolate. Overall feeling was disappointment for this $20+ bottle.

Dark, black. Coffee, blueberry, soy, resin on nose. Larger body, generous smooth wood and chocolate, dark fruit, spicy black pepper, aggresive tannins clip the finish short. Would be a nightmare with a with a well done strip steak. Fortunatly, I am vegan, so I'll never have to face that mess. whatever.

Drank beautifully, still has life, wish I had another bottle. Full bodied, subtle tannins, delicious dark fruit (love P.S.)
