After 90 minute decant, this wine was silky and vibrant. It was a perfect compliment to bbq ribeyes. The fact that this bottle was a magnum obviously factored in to the longevity of this wine which is generally reading that it was at it's peak 3 years ago.

Drank my only bottle of this last night with grilled beef tenderloin. Delicious wine with pencil lead, florals, light fruits. Maybe lacked a bit of intensity for my tastes but a great bottle none the less.

Enjoyable, albeit, chewy wine. Dark fruit--blackberry more than currant--with a slight tang. Some suggestion of anise. Tannins are almost completely resolved. Not the longest finish in the world, but just so easy to enjoy.

Dense and rich. Still plenty of fruit with some interesting wood, mint, graphite notes. Classic style and if not transcendent, very good especially with grilled lamb chops. Drinking well but it will keep.
