Yum. Delicious combo of key-lime citrus and mineral intensity, all modulated to a restrained level. Nice balance, good intensity and perfect with barramundi en papillote w/ olives, chorizo, blood orange and endive.

This is just too serious of a wine for $12, it is almost not ready to drink. The '01 is a completely different wine than the '00 we drank last year as house white. This wine is made for aging as Andrew said. With food it rounds out and complemented the pork loin with jezebel sauce and corn casserole with green chiles. Lots of personality in the bottle- good clean fruit, mineral and acid balance and a pleasing finish.

Citrus, yeast and minerals on the nose. And all of these flavors, again, stronger on the palate. Especially fine, crushed stone, mineral finish.
