Really torn about this wine. On the one hand there are some really nice Sangiovese charateristics to the wine, with the dusty cherry and rasberry fruit, the roasted garlic and herb flavors and just the right amount of oak treatment. On the other hand it lacks something in the midpalate and none of the flavors are intense enough to get it close to a 90.

Drinking very good now. May be too fruit forward for your typical Sangio but it was a great quaffer.

The REAL Willamette Valley century club (100 wines at the wineries in 1 day) (Willamette Valley - Oregon): Peppery palate, nice overall.

Willamette Valley Century Club (100 wines in a day)!: Smells like a modern Sangiovese... not my style. Big and soft red fruits. Pretty boring.
