  • One of 16 wines tasted at our Joseph Swan & Holdredge OL at La Vista. This was for certain my most anticipated wine of the evening and it far exceeded my expectations. From John’s first vintage, it was an exceptionally rare treat to have this wine on our table. Lighter in color than its JS counterparts. Gorgeous floral, raspberry and cherry aromas on the nose and palate, silky, elegant and balanced. My hat goes off to you, John, for such a knock out from your first vintage. Bravo! Definitely one of my WOTN.

  • A beautiful bottle of pinot which awed both cab and zin lovers alike. Lovely and lingering perfumed nose of oak and vanilla with layers of fruit. long satisfying finish. I bought this at the winery years ago and had been saving for a special occasion . It didn't disappoint.

  • Much like its 2002 counterpart opened a few weeks ago. Bright cherry on nose and palate with modest spice. Good subdued fruit. I would have liked a little more acidity and energy. Best in next few years.
