Friday Night Brown Bagger (J&J's): Medium mousse with a lingering bead. Rich and slightly toasty with abundant orchard fruit underneath. Delightful, and in a terrific spot right now. (J2)

The 80%+ Chardonnay shows in this wine, as it isn't as complex as other 2004s opened next to it. A slightly yeasty/bread dough quality. Very fine mousse. I don't know if this will develop further, or if it has reached its peak. I have one more bottle hiding in the cellar somewhere, so I'll probably find that someday and then compare to these notes.

drank this around a fire with my big bro fore he passed. we both agreed it had buttered popcorn & smoke in there. It’s the closest I’ve ever come to feeling like a wine was truly ethereal; big bro was truly impressed. Miss you John, hope you remember our good times. Ain’t nobody I’d rather pop bottles with homie. Till next time. I love you forever bro.

Lovely citrus, pear and green apple nose with the slightest brioche. Fine mousse, light golden color in the glass. Mouth watering juicy citrus and stone fruit on the palate Clean finish. Delightful.

Loved it! Not too sweet, not bitter.
