Found I had forgotten this wine in a corner of the cellar... Thought I might have missed the boat....not a bit of it. All the lift of Chorey with that added authority of its origin. Delicious and - sure - not a wine to linger over once opened, but great fun. A really good Tollot Beaut wine. They are true masters of the (seemingly) lighter side of Cote de B, but don't be fooled: remarkably long on the palate, considering. Uplifting on a cold winter night (and not a great day politically....).

Rich red berry-fruit, with an almost dark core, oak well handled. Taste is long, smooth and fruity with a complex end with cherries, tobacco and a touch of wet leaves. Really nice showing from Tollot-Beaut!

very subtle, almost too subtle for my crass Aussie palette. some cedar, tobacco and vanilla. short finish. I prefer a bit more fruit but that says more about me than this burgundy.

(Tollot-Beaut Chorey-lès-Beaune Pièce du Chapitre) A little more depth, and certainly finer. The structure is relatively buried and there’s a nice burst of interest on the mid-palate and into the finish. Very good.

Ripe, almost Rhônelike in the nose. Still good acidity and fruit. Drink up.
