Cab and merlot blend. The last year that John Ruston bottled the La Maestra as a blend without the Cab Sauv designation. Wonderful claret. Cab driven but with round merlot mouthfeel as well.

A decent wine but not one I would purchase again for the price. Not what I would consider a great Napa Bend but again a a very drinkable wine.

A very nice wine with complex flavors. Needs several hours of decanting. Has a very nice finish.

Good value Napa blend but not the caliber of the distinguished 2001 or of the less expensive Ruston 2005 Napa Cab.
