Medium garnet red with pink rim. Aromas of cedar, green peppers and menthol. This wine is dry with very little acid and a goodly sum of tannins. Flavor takes a while to materialize in the mouth and when it does, it reveals a smokey, leathery character with a complex collection of rock fruits.

Outstanding Ripasso. Not too sweet but not dry on the palate. Cherries, Dark Chocolate and plums on the nose.

Phenomenal. You could swear it was an amarone. Excellently balanced.

Classic Ripasso with good balance and complexity...although I caan't get past the distinctive rustic flavour of 'lees'....I say go Amarone or go home!
