Much better than 5/2013. Oak has receded and mainly gives a buttery feeling on the tongue. Lemon notes and good acidity. I'll drink my last bottle anytime from now to a couple of years.

Fairly delicate nose, white flowers and a hint of oak with some minerality. Big hit of tropical fruit, pineapple in the mouth followed quickly by oak with a great acidity and a slight earthy, mineral note that I couldn't quite put my finger on, but that gives it a sense of place - you know it isn't new-world. The finish is long with creamy oak that doesn't overpower and an almost toffee-apple acid tang that make your mouth water. Very moreish.

A Burgundy Night: Blind. Sulphur, baked lemon, incredibly clean nose; high intensity and vigor, fined grained, endless, lemon soda. Wow!

Eastman. Nice match with crab cakes in lemon sauce. Medium body, a little smoke, wood but not to a fault, nice lemon notes.

Lots of oak not enough else, and I'm not confident that the time will improve things. Will wait a couple of years for the next bottle.
